Biological Sciences Minor

Minor Description

(20 credits minimum)

A minor in Biological Sciences requires either BIOL 1030 /BIOL 1050  or BIOL 1100 ; and either BIOL 1040 /BIOL 1060  or BIOL 1110 ; plus 12 additional credits selected from BIOL courses at the 3000 level or above, BCHM 3010 , BCHM 3050 , GEN 3000  or GEN 3020 , or MICR 3050 /MICR 3060 . Only four credits of BCHM 3010 , BCHM 3050 , BIOL 3940 , BIOL 4910 , BIOL 4920 , BIOL 4930 , BIOL 4940  (MICR 4940 ), BIOL 4950 , BIOL 4980 , GEN 3000 , GEN 3020 , and/or MICR 3050 /MICR 3060  may count toward the minor.

NOTE: This minor is not open to Biological Sciences majors or to Science Teaching - Biological Sciences Teaching Area majors.
