Program Description
The Certificate in Applied Computational Mechanical Engineering is designed to prepare students for developing and applying modeling and simulation technologies to understand real-world physical/natural systems and solve complex engineering problems. The certificate program offers students experience with mathematical techniques for modeling complex physical systems; computational methods for simulation and analysis of solid, fluidic and multi-physics systems; parallel programming and software development; and methods for engineering optimization. The Certificate in Applied Computational Mechanical Engineering enables students to develop and apply modeling and simulation capabilities to solve complex engineering problems. This certificate requires 15 credits of coursework. |
