Minor Description
(15 credits minimum)
A minor in Landscape Architecture requires a minimum of 15 credits. Students have two options for completing the minor. Courses may be offered on the Clemson campus, at off-campus locations such as Charleston, and in select international settings. In addition, some courses are available during summer sessions, providing students with flexible options to fit their academic schedules and interests.
Option 1 On-Campus and the Dominican Republic
Option 1 requires LARC 1150 , LARC 3190 , LARC 3210 , and DSGN 3700 . Students begin the minor by completing LARC 1150 on Clemson’s campus and complete the remaining 12 credits during a six-week summer session in the Dominican Republic. Option 2 On-Campus and The Bahamas
Option 2 requires LARC 1150 , LARC 1160 , and LARC 4230 ; and six additional credits selected from LARC 2630 , LARC 3190 , LARC 3210 , LARC 3630 , LARC 4900 , and LARC 4970 . Students complete LARC 1150 , LARC 1160 , and LARC 4230 on Clemson’s campus and may complete the remaining six credits either on Clemson’s campus or during a summer session in the Bahamas.
